Looking at the life Lyndell lived, you can tell he was a very humble and kind-hearted person. Back in the day, we would have called him smart, but today, we would call him a nerd.š He was a special soul who will always be remembered for his humility, intelligence, and kind heart. Rest in peace, my schoolmate, Lyndell. Gone but never forgotten. šļøšā¤ļø

Mr Sam, he was a great mentor, he helped me a lot. Especially when I was in a very dark time in my life.... He was the best, always patient, always listened. He was a fair man; there's nothing I couldn't do, when it comes to Mr Sam. Every time I hear his name, I begin to feel down, and I tear up a bit, which is strange because I haven't cried for a very long time.Ā

My sincere condolences to the Samuels family. I am praying that that the Lord will give you comfort and strength in your time of grief. For the short period that I knew him, he was very helpful in sharing the Seventh-day Adventist literature that I needed. He and his wife loved the Lord and were humble people. I'm sure he will be missed in the Brompton Church family as we grew to love him. Sleep in Peace my Brother in Christ.Ā

A Tribute to Bro. Lyndell Samuels
Bro. Sammy was always there. I hardly ever saw Sis. Sammy without him; they were such a close and loving pair.
I came to know them when Sis. Sammy taught my evening classes at Savanna-la-Mar High School. I remember when they got married and how much comfort and love I heard in her voice whenever she spoke about her husband. When I later learned she was expecting, I was so happy. Sis. Sammy had such a gentle, delicate presence, and I felt reassured knowing she had a loving gentleman like Bro. Sammy by her side.
I will always remember his presence. I know his absence will be difficult for Sis. Sammy, but I pray that Godās grace and protecting arms will carry her and the family through their grief.
I also remember Bro. Sammy as a literature evangelist who guided me on which books to keep. He and Sis. Sammy were always so persuasive in encouraging me to buy books each year!
My heartfelt sympathies go out to Sis. Sammy and the entire family. May God comfort you and help you through this difficult time.

FAMILY FRIEND
Lyndell, Paul the name I have always used since I have known him, is a respected member of our family. He is known for his commitment to leadership, education, family, and faith in his Christian beliefs. He played an important role in my tertiary education by paving the way for a smooth transition from my high school to Northern Caribbean University, and I am forever grateful for his intervention at that stage of my life. Paul, you are a role model, your memories and legacy will forever live on. Sleep well.

A Tribute to a Beloved Classmate and Colleague
Today, we pause with heavy hearts to pay tribute to a beloved classmate and colleague of Savanna-la-Mar High School, whose passing has left us saddened by the loss of a life that touched others through quiet dedication, hard work, humility, and service.
He was a dedicated and hardworking individual who carried out his responsibilities with commitment and diligence. Quiet and easy-going by nature, he had a humble spirit and a calm presence that made him a pleasure to work with. He was not one who needed to draw attention to himself, for his character, work ethic, and willingness to serve spoke volumes about the kind of person he was.
As a colleague, he demonstrated commitment and a strong sense of responsibility. He understood the value of hard work and approached his duties with sincerity and dedication. His contribution to the life and work of Savanna-la-Mar High School will be remembered with appreciation, and his presence among us will be deeply missed.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, he was a humble and devoted servant of God. His commitment to the work of the Lord was a reflection of his faith and his willingness to serve with a sincere heart. His life reminds us that service is not always measured by the recognition we receive, but by the faithfulness, love, and dedication with which we carry out our calling.
It is never easy to say goodbye to someone with whom we have shared experiences, responsibilities, and memories. Though words may not fully express the sadness we feel, we are grateful for the time we shared with him and for the example he leaves behind. His quiet strength, gentle disposition, strong work ethic, and devotion to God have left an impression that will not easily be forgotten.
As we mourn his passing, may we find comfort in the memories we cherish and in the knowledge that a life dedicated to honest work and faithful service is a life that has made a difference.
To his family, friends, church family, and all who mourn his passing, we extend our heartfelt condolences. May the God whom he served so faithfully grant you strength, comfort, and peace during this difficultĀ
May my colleague and classmate rest well. His earthly journey has ended, but the memory of his life, his service, and husquiet dedication will remain with us.

Bro Sam had a smile that was contagious. You would not leave his presence without a smile on your face. His many years of dedication especially to the Smithfield SDA have not gone unnoticed. He was known to lead and would do so effortlessly with the scripture as his sole guide.
Iām most grateful for his support especially while I mourned the loss of my dad in 2024. I remember visiting my dad in hospital and was pleasantly told āBro Sam shaved himā.
On behalf of the Forbes family, we extend our condolences to the family. God is with you even in these moments. The road is rough but rest assured that OUR FATHER is the Great COMFORTER and our best friend. Sometimes, God's comfort does not immediately change your situation; it gives you the strength and peace to walk through it.
āCasting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.ā ā 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
Bro Sam has gone on to rest but weāre left with the heartwarming memories he created with us. We are blessed to have known him.

Mr. Samuels was a humble and meticulous teacher. I was privileged to have him as Bible and Information Technology Teacher at Sav High. I have fond memories of our last interaction, when the Class of 2002 had our first reunion and dedication service for our past teachers. He was extremely proud of our achievements and our initiative of giving back to our school community. Mr. Samuels will always be that smooth, stern voice that echoes to remind us that we all have a purpose and we must always remember to allow God to lead. I pray that the Lord provides strength and comfort for his family as they reflect on the wonderful memories of Mr. Samuels.

Lyndell Samuels was a remarkable person, always encouraged us to continue to serve the Lord. I remember when he opened doors for a few persons at Smithfield Church to come to Sav High and do evening classes to do CXCs, and he encouraged them and did his best to ensure that they passed and they did. How can I forget, he is a great cricketer; none can test the best batsman Smithfield Church had. We used to look forward to seeing him play cricket when we had Sports Day, and trust me he is simply the best. He had a heart of gold, he was loved by many and he had a passion for young people. He will be truly missed, especially by the young people of Smithfield Church. Sleep on and take your rest. The Lord saw it best to take you home until we meet again. Fly high.

At March Town SDA, Lyndell and his family were very prominent in the church. As young men, with Colin, we grew up together as members and as young people in the church. Theirs was a very spiritual family, a family that was truly zealous for the Lord.
Lyndell lived what he believed. He was always a Christian in his stance and in his conversations. He stood firm in the faith and was not ashamed to let his light shine for the Lord.
He will be greatly missed. We extend our deepest condolences to his family during this very difficult time, and we pray that the God of all comfort will strengthen and keep them.

In Loving Memory of Elder Lyndell Samuels
My memory of Elder Lyndell Samuels is that of a man who was always with his family. It was abundantly clear that he was committed to leading his family in the way of the Lord, which was very admirable and encouraging.
I remember him as a colleague whose ministry was predominantly focused on the printed page, but whose service was by no means limited to just that. He willingly offered himself in many other areas of ministry, serving faithfully at his local church, conventions, gospel campaigns, parish federations, and others.
I also remember him as a helpful neighbour during my time living in Amity. On several occasions, when I needed materials from the Conference Headquarters, I could depend on Elder Samuels to make the necessary pickups, not only for me personally but also for the churches I served. His willingness to help was truly appreciated. It was the easiest thing for me to do whenever similar requests were made by him.
Elder Samuels was an ardent and refined brother in Christ, whose professionalism, conduct, and dealings made life so much easier and better for others.
As we reflect on his life and the contribution he made to his family, the church, and the wider community, we are reminded of the precious hope we hold in Christ Jesus ā the hope of the resurrection of those who are asleep in Him.
My thoughts and prayers are with Sis. Samuels and Bro. Lyandre. And to his brother Elder Collin, whom I have come to know so well since serving in the UK, and all other members of the family: May the God of all comfort sustain you, strengthen you and grant you peace as you cherish the memories of our dear Elder.
